Recapping Repeatability 2021

The purpose of Repeatability

Repeatability explores both pre-investment and post-investment topics on how to build repeatable revenue in growth-stage technology companies. Last year's event, which was the first of its kind, covered the different types of enterprise revenue (ARR, consumption, professional services) and discussed the most successful models applied across tech industries.

Budgeting, contracting, pricing, organization design, and compensation incentive plans are key components of driving growth. Our expert panelists shared key insights on these topics, which have been pivotal to their success. Last year’s attendees took these insights and augmented their playbooks for repeatable growth. That’s precisely what we want to achieve with Repeatability events - shared, open-source learning.

How to manage post-investment phases successfully

Allocating sales and marketing resources post-investment is a crucial element that will determine a company’s focus, direction, and thereby its financial performance. It is imperative to navigate this correctly, otherwise, a company risks slowing growth or plateauing. Our panelists shared their thoughts on this topic and explored the key performance indicators that growth-stage technology companies should track.

Our expert panelists

The speakers included Adriel Lares (CFO of Stash), Dave Zilberman (Norwest Venture Partners), Joanne Yuan (Turn/River Capital), and Murat Bicer (CRV). Aurin Bhattacharjee of DTCP led the pre-investment panel, while Dmitry Dakhnovsky of Stereo Capital led the post-investment panel discussions, which consisted of Jeff Samuels (COO of Iterable), Nick Schneider (CEO of Arctic Wolf Networks), Paul Drews (Head of North America, Salesforce Ventures), and Russ Jones (former CFO of Shopify).
